Adam is a professional Guitarist/Bassist based in SW London. Since first picking up the guitar at the age of 8, he has gone from strength to strength studying and performing many genres of music including jazz, rock, pop, funk and many more.
Under the guidance of Sarah Clarke, Adam started his playing career as a classical guitarist, of which by the age of 10, was already grade 5 standard, earning himself a place at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama to continue he studies into music and the guitar. In his early teens he started listening and taking an interest into popular culture. Bands such as Oasis, Stereophonics & The Eagles inspired him to enjoy the art of song writing, which led to his parents buying him his first electric guitar!
Adam continued his studies with Hounslow Music Services and joined numerous bands in a bid to play as much as possible. It was also during this time he started learning about the bass guitar and the differences (and excitement) a band could give to an audience in comparison to ensembles and orchestras.
After secondary school he went on to study Music Technology at Richmond upon Thames College, now taking an interest in the way song and artists recorded. During this time he passed his grade 8 classical guitar exam with distinction.
He later went on to study at the Guitar Institute in London for a Bachelor Music degree in Popular Music Performance, under the guidance of respected teachers such as John Wheatcroft, Shaun Bauxter, Lee Hoskyn, Steve Alllsworth to name a few.
Since then he has been performing and teaching professionally with numerous acts as well his own bands South of Suburbia, Falling Astoria & DisCovered.
